Expected results

 

ALICE project has the aim to select the optimal concept for AFSD and optimize the process parameters to achieve a high quality of the part. Since the output of FSE is crucial for the overall quality of the ALICE project, a digital model of the process will be developed to optimize the process parameters and assure a highly resilient process, able to cope with the variability of the input material. At the end of the project, guidelines to use to their maximum efficiency these three processes will be developed, with the clear indication of the best option to produce a new part based on part geometry and expected metallurgy.
